About our Bluebirds!

Where Bluebirds Fly is based in a beautiful village just outside of York, Where Bluebirds do indeed fly! We launched back in 2014 making handmade frames, each featuring a little Bluebird hidden somewhere, we also made lots of lovely seasonal handmade gifts throughout the year, fairy doors in springtime, elf doors at Christmas as well as mothers day, fathers day, birthday and wedding gifts! We also introduced our Christmas 'Cardboard Box Hampers' at Christmas time, full of lovely treats that can be enjoyed as a family and we must admit that this was one of our favorite seasonal offerings! So we decided to expand on this and create a website where you can send wonderful treats at anytime of the year, just to brighten up someones day and that is where we are today!

Many of our lovely customers will already know that Where Bluebirds Fly was launched by myself- Laura, All of the handmade pieces and mini prints are made/designed by me, I also curate the beautiful gifts collections on our website, but recently it has become a bit more of a family business, with my husband now helping out with purchasing, packing and posting and my daughter (aged 4!) helping us to wrap and pack your gifts also, she loves seeing seeing what gifts are leaving our nest each day and wholeheartedly agrees that when you send chocolate you have made the right choice- of course! She is also an absolute pro with the sticky tape, brilliant at adding pompoms and wooden hearts to your packages and is very gentle at tucking up your gifts and wishing them goodnight before they head out of the nest! My son will also help out with the post runs and packing when he finds time in his busy schedule, but  as I am sure you can imagine being 5 years old, attending school and being a part time superhero (shh that bit is a secret!) takes up alot of his time!

So that is our flock of Bluebirds! We are a family run business- at the moment!  And absolutely love what we do, we really hope that you do too!
